Au Fil du Temps Crozes-Hermitage Syrah

Dynamite wine. Needs an hour then classic, rich, decadent Darnaud with a granite undertone.

So good. Lovely subtle oak spice with big blackberry coulis fruit and spices on the nose. Huge depth on the nose. You could swim in the layers. Palate is so ripe, so rich and so dense with dazzling purity and freshness. Wow. This is just incredible. So fresh yet so opulent and deep. That’s what the best 15’s have to offer. Spectacular.

Ripe blackberry, black cherry, leather, mineral, layered and long 🥳

Dark ruby color. Beautiful aromas and flavors of cooked black currant and blackberry, vanilla, toast, meat, smoke and spice. Full bodied and rich. Velvety texture. Highly concentrated and beautifully balanced. Really nice wine.

@Michael Altimare this is my contribution to French Syrah that leaves you wanting something more.

Very drinkable, great by itself. Got a little grippier with steak. Good with food in general, but better by itself.
