Got to enjoy this luscious vintage as a a freebie thanks to the lovely room welcoming at the Wythe Hotel, Brooklyn NY — 8 years ago
Golden apples, bruised pear, gardenias, almonds, honeysuckle, saline, smoke. Rounded acid, medium-plus body, juicy-oily texture, crisp floral-stone fruit-honeyed finish.. Delicate aromatics unfolds nicely into rich texture, mineral driven, highly food friendly. Recommended for Chenin lovers.

Lemon zest, white flowers, pineapple, and an intriguing pine cone undertone. Fresh acidity just barely rounded off at the corners. Light-bodied and refreshing. — 10 years ago
Mature flavors of roasted cashews and hazelnuts. With some salty, Sherry-like elements too. Excellent eye-opener with the full Easter brunch spread — 10 years ago
Just what I was looking for in a rose at that price point. It could be a little drier but it was lovely on a warm French Alps day — 11 years ago
delicious grand cru blanc de blancs — 11 years ago
A beautifully aged riesling. Very gentile, bright fruit aromas that grow over time. Striking acidity is balanced by just a little remaining residual sugar. Flavors of citrus fruit with lots of minerality. Medium, gentile finish. — 11 years ago
Surprising. Fruit-forward but not overwhelming, nice tannic balance, low-medium acid. — 8 years ago
Impressive for Lufthansa to serve this independent Champagne in their first class! — 9 years ago
2014 vintage. Honeycomb, green pear, yellow apple, honeysuckle, wet rocks. High acid at first, as is typical of the vintage, but mellows out a bit the next day. Good Merkelbach typicity. Always love these guys and their elegantly restrained style. — 10 years ago

@Erika yeah I bought several different vineyards from them when the 12' allocations were released, just don't recall seeing that one avail at the time,Great vintage quality to a non vintage champagne. Very smooth and not effervescent but Brut start. — 11 years ago
Super romorantin avec un peu d'âge, un nez floral et mielleux et une bouche riche et équilibrée qui s'étire longuement. Sautez dessus si vous le voyez en tablettes! — 11 years ago
One of the better Cour-Cheverny wines I've tasted: a statement that says everything but also nothing. Less unpleasantly oxidative than Daridan, more interesting than de Montcy and Cazin and at much frendlier price than Henri Marionnet. For the money I think this is the best that's out there-- Golden apple skin, celery, tarragon. — 11 years ago
