2013. Eleven years under a screw cap and it tastes very fresh with dark berry fruit and no visible signs of age. From the other reviews, I think the oak has probably mellowed a bit and I really enjoyed it with a meaty patty melt. — 5 months ago
Deep ruby, heavy bodied - nose opens up to strawberry, spice and bubblegum. Mouth feel: blackcurrant, black pepper, liquorice, vanilla. medium acidity, well integrated tannins… very smooth to drink! — 8 months ago

3.3. We don’t usually drink Riesling, but this dry Riesling from Australia was a gift from a friend, and we very much enjoyed it with cheese and crackers before dinner. — 6 months ago
Popped and poured into a decanter about 90min prior to service. The 2013 Eclipse pours a deep ruby with a transparent core; medium+ viscosity with faint staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with red and black brambles, leather, black pepper and other spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and hard to hate on. Yes, it is an enormous wine and yet, somehow balanced at 16%. To this day, the wines from Noon remain elusive. Drink now through 2028. — a year ago
This is another blend. But this time it’s Cab, Syrah and Mourvèdre. — 4 years ago

Poured into a decanted about an hour prior to service and presented double-blind. The 2019 “Lily’s Garden” pours a deep garnet with a bit of purple and a near opaque core; medium+ viscosity with significant staining of the tears. On the nose the wine is developing with black bramble fruit, purple flowers, a touch of the animal and baking spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The alcohol is elevated; calling it high. The finish is medium+. I called Syrah from France, from the Northern Rhône, Croze-Hermitage from a recent warmer vintage like 2019. Dangit…I got the variety right but I should have considered Australia with the elevated alcohol. This is a fairly classic Aussie Shiraz that certainly gives off a French vibe but the fruit and alcohol give it away. Drink now through 2034. — 5 months ago
I haven’t had a Napa Chardonnay in quite a while. This is very nice. Very fragrant, with ripe orchard fruit, a nice florals, very light touch of barrel aging toast, and an interesting wet clay minerality. Denser in the mouth than the nose led me to expect. Low-toned cracked dark stones, with the fruit taking a back seat. Quite full bodied, but there is nice, subtle acidity to lift it just enough. Seem to me the closest French analogy is a well-made Pouilly-Fuisse. Got this for under $25 at Costco. — 10 months ago

Dark in color, good nose, full body. Too woody for my taste, but a balanced CS — 3 months ago
