Vivid red Pinot-like color... perhaps like a dark Tavel in its clear-glass bottle. Sediment galore. Muted vegetal and blood orange flavors, rhubarb, sour cherry. 92/8 grenache/syrah at 11.8% ABV. Would be nearly impossible to nail this as McLaren Vale. Day 2: thankfully, still drinking well thanks to fresh acidity and light flinty edge. Except for the rhubarb, this could be mistaken for a lighter style Cru Beaujolais. Delicious!

Heck to the yes - my kind of wine. 92 Grenache with 8 Syrah. Naturally made and not fined or filtered. It's like someone thought it'd be funny to throw some wild yeast into some cherry cool-aid. Beautiful funk on the nose, the color is really light, almost Pinot-esque. Wild cherries, cinnamon, yeast, and pomegranate on the nose. The palate is zingy but smooth and ultra gulpable. This natural wine thing ain't bad.

So fresh and so clean clean. Beautiful ruby color. Light strawberry & anise aromas. Spice, graphite, tart cherry and dried cranberry. Really pretty wine.

#Rhone style natural wine from #Australia really juicy, spicy and elegant. Not over extracted like some aussie red

2013 vintage. One of the new wave of Artisan winemakers like our Delectable mate Fraser from Sami-Odi. Fresh juicy and funky. Just enough whole bunch acidity without over doing it. Silky but not delivering enough of the ripe fruit Grenache characters that one gets from old school old vine Grenache in The Vale.

Yummy stuff, colour doesn't match the taste. It messes with what you think you know.
