Very enjoyable. Crisp. Clean taste. — 5 years ago

I love this. Fantastic. Aromas of cinnamon and roots. On the palate its lovely, spicy and savory. To Dionysos! And his mother Semelee, this wine is from her home. — 8 years ago
As I continue my never-ending and tireless search for the perfect “10” of IPAs a friend recommended that I try this one. The “Filthy Dirty” IPA from Parallel 49 Brewing Company, Vancouver BC, although not the perfect “10” it certainly ranks in the top tier of great IPAs. With its crisp mouth feel, hints of fruit and clean clarity on your palate this Canadian is a hops lover’s delight. Oh with so many great IPAs to taste and so little time, I need help. Sh-t. I mean. This starts inconspicuous but becomes more energetic with each day open. Coiled acid and melting taffy. Aching red fruit; dripping, swirling mineral dust. Subtly sweet, then unexpectedly dry, with a powdery texture. Worthy parallel to eg bandol rose, but even more acid. — 2 years ago
Warm. Plum. Complex. Earthy. Leaves a burn after a moment. So perfect for our 37th anniversary ♥️♥️ — 6 years ago
One of my fav simple reds. This is my go to for a sipping red — 6 years ago
Wow I enjoyed this. A great find. Went perfectly with steaks. — 7 years ago
Now this is some really good PN. Bright cherries laced in minerality, and floral fragrances as if walking through a rose garden that is planted parallel with a road that’s just had fresh asphalt applied. Perfumed yet damp and earthy. Love the back-label note:
“The best of our barrels comes to you in this very limited bottling. It is comprised entirely from our Ribbon Ridge vineyard’s sweet spot, all from Clone 667. Named in honor of an Oregon Trail pioneer, this is a wine that could stand up to such a journey.” — 8 years ago

Didn’t realize I could like a California Chardonnay this much. Great minerality — 9 years ago
Without question the best cabernet franc I’ve ever had from California, this is unfortunately the last bottle I have. I don’t know what happened in 2007, but Gerhard made a spectacular cab franc that has no parallel before or since (of course, the winery no longer exists - at least not in any recognizable form - but you get my meaning). Still drinking incredibly well, this was a singular achievement from what always was a WAY underrated winery. — 5 years ago

"Mahi is long enough for real substance without that awful syrupy quality so common in other whites. There's a note in there that some describe is funk, but we'd call grassy." According to Karen MacNeil "New Zealand Sauvignon blancs have no parallel in the world." — 6 years ago

Smooth and silky, light tannins, heavy plumb and blackberry....delicious — 8 years ago

Film house wine? Very tiny bit sparkly, fruity, sweet, didn't have it with food. 2023 — 8 months ago
