This wine we opened a couple days ago the 2019 Raen Sonoma Coast Royal St. Robert Cuvée Pinot Noir. From Sebastopol, California. The Mondavi boy's, Carlo and Dante, have done a wonderful job with this one.
On the nose there is juicy strawberry, cherry, raspberry, orange peel, mushroom, hibiscus, spice, dried roses and forest floor.
On the palate is strawberry, cherry, raspberry, cranberry, mushroom, spice, black tea, forest floor and earth.
This wine is medium bodied with a beautiful smooth fresh mouthfeel medium to medium+ acidity and medium fine polished tannins that has a long red fruit forest floor finish. Raen ‘Royal St Robert Cuvée’ Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2019: Medium-bodied. Nice acidity. Fine tannins. Fresh red berries. Blueberry. Mushroom. Spice. Oak. Elegant long finish. Overall, a clean & rustic Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. A little light on age but the rich fruit & earth flavors make up for it; very savory on the palate. Cheers🍷

Aromas of ripe cherries and raspberries, green olive, black tea, Douglas fir, thyme, and orange peel. Nice complexity and wonderful finish that carries the fruit and orange peel to the palate. But I agree with the winemaker this would benefit from a few years' cellaring to mellow the fruit.
