Beautiful expression of the terroir and grape—so alive. Great acidity. Cherry and strawberry primarily. Medium-plus tannins. Chalky earthiness married to faint but heavy flowers—violet and hibiscus. The faintest whiff of cedar and tobacco hits as one drops the glass. — 4 years ago
A bit too direct and rocky for me. Definitely a style. It was bracing and the acid high. It did have an interesting nose of terroir — 5 years ago
Wow! Full, rich and creamy. We drank it without disgorging it, turns out 9 years on lees makes an incredibly dense wine! Bruised bananas, caramel, old cheddar all wafting out of the glass from meters away — it fills the room. — 6 years ago

Grapefruit and peaches on the nose. Tons more tropical fruit and lemon as it gets air. Fun, fine bubbles and loads of lees. — 8 years ago
Awesome. Herbaceous and minty but lush and textural. Rivals champagne for sure, with a little something extra and unusual that the latter can’t provide. — 4 years ago

Full bodies paired great with tenderloin tonight! — 8 years ago
Nose - watermelon. Tasting notes - raspberry and peach with some healthy sugar/sweetness but not cloying. So fun! — 3 years ago
I love this wine.

Blanc de Blanc, zero dosage
Clear, (-)medium gold, lively steady bubbles
Clean and youthful, soil and toasty autolytic notes
Dry, fruitiness masks the med+ acidity, Medium body. Flavor is soil and toasty autolytic, with some lemon pith. Finish is med.
Good on its own, but could use food such as paté on crostini.
Very good, drink now. — 6 years ago
Vintage 2005 - this is serious stuff! Yellow golden colour, nice bitterness, impression of yeast and apple, good acidity, fresh! #franciacorta 60 months sur lattes — 7 years ago
