Still a great Merlot but lots of dark fruit and feels alcoholic/hangover inducing. Their wines recently need to sit much longer than in the past. — 5 years ago
Direct follow up to 2020 vintage. Much more earthy terroir taste than the 2020 fruit bomb. Very enjoyable with more complex hints of flavor — 6 months ago
Enjoyed on the one week anniversary of our wedding curbside at Walter’s. — 6 months ago
Crafted by Joseph J. Wagner, 4th generation winemaker, with winemaking roots in the Napa Valley since 1906. Deep Ruby with red berry fruit aromas, tea and sweet spice notes. On the palate flavors of jammy blackberry and cherry with pronounced sweet vanilla oak, cacao and pepper spice notes. Soft tannins and bright acidity, well balanced, with mineral tones on a long finish ending with toasty spice! Nice! — 8 months ago
String and earthy with dark fruit. The tonella is better of course but this is still good. Drinking young. — 3 years ago
Cinnamon, cranberry, cherry, magenta, ruby, leather, cherry, cranberry, acid and tannins are chalky — 5 years ago
Love this one from@Edna Valley — 5 years ago
Wow. The nose on this is beautiful. White flowers. Perfume. Intense but elegant. A 9.7 nose. Crushed seashell.
Palate is elegant tropical fruit. A bit hot at first but it blows off. Good deliciousness but not in your face.
Major crush on this producer. Such elegant wines. This vintage reminds me a bit of Rhône legend Marc Sorrel.

An utter masterpiece
Nose: white and yellow flowers.
Palate: bright. Elegant citrus. Mineral. The echoes of framing oak. Utterly delicious. The mathematical limit of what you can do with sub 1er cru grapes. Wow ! Silky sweet lemon fruit.

Decanted for 24 hours so that it could open up as it’s so young.
Incredible flavour, complex, red fruits but not too bold and some nuisance too.
Time will serve this well. A winemaker who dances to his own tune and making great music. — 4 years ago
Wow. Whopping chablisien fruit out of the gate. So mineral. Explosively.
Awesome lechet fruit. So dense. Luscious. Mineral. This vintage seems more straightforward and less Reflecting the intense house style than other vintages. Stunningly delicious. Bravo.
I cannot emphasize how delicious this is. It’s the apogee of lechet.
