Yum! I do love Spanish wines. Excellent wine that I could enjoy every day. — 9 years ago
Wow... very yummy and a surprising texture. Much more smooth and full bodied than I've experienced with a rose. I'm a fan! Yum! — 9 years ago
New York Prime, Boca, Scuderia Club... Aston Martin driving CPA to the stars MZ concurs; this was simply black grape inky goodness. Wow, this winery never disappoints... — 10 years ago

Red berry and earth aromas with soft tannins and a hint of oak — 11 years ago
"Black grape, raspberry and cassis hints combine in this delicately sweet Cabernet Sauvignon. It's full bodied character makes it superb with mature cheeses and fine pates." — 12 years ago
Tasted like the stars with Paige and Leslie! — 12 years ago
When winemaker Simon Waghorn created his own brand, he chose the name Astrolabe, which is an ancient instrument of navigation that measures the altitude of the stars. Pale straw with grassy citrus notes and floral scents. On the palate peach, tangy citrus and melon flavors with gentle acidity. Medium+ finish ending with bright mineral character. — 8 years ago
Bold red with strong aroma and hearty taste — 9 years ago
Delicious full bodied Chardonnay! Just melts in your mouth and invites you to play! Can't wait to have more! Would 100% recommend and drink again. — 10 years ago
Poppin bottles for Christmas. Good Cava, great taste and easy to drink. Floated a couple raspberries in top for the holidays. — 11 years ago
Really good. The slight fizz gives it a very unique texture/flavour. — 11 years ago
Doug Stewart at his best. As Robert Parker said Doug: best Pinot Gris in the new world' — 11 years ago
This is a Valpolicella blend without Molinara but with some Croatina. Grapes come from volcanic soils of San Briccio Cru, near Mezzane. 2006 is a 4-stars vintage, but here we are at the top peak of quality, awesome wine. — 12 years ago
Aromatic and complex, definitely not international style — 12 years ago
Had another bottle. Stéphane Ogier is one of Côte Rôtie’s most well-respected stars & looks for concentration in the vineyards and freshness in the cellars. "Le Temps est Venu, ‘the time has come’ for an adventure farther south, with old-vine Grenache and limestone slopes. A blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah that comes from the Plan de Dieu and Visan AOCs. Red fruit aromas and pepper spice notes. Sweet raspberry and cherry flavor adding herbs to the mix. Medium length ending with earthy notes. Nice value! — 8 years ago
Initially I simply was trying to figure out what hybrid varietal based wine tastes like but after settling into it, I was able to admire it for what it is; a delicious, fresh, juicy acid bound wine that almost could replace some of my go to Tuesday night gluggers. Very excited to taste more. Marquette, Petit Pearl, St. Croix, Sabrevois, Cayuga. — 9 years ago
2008 vintage. Stood out at the Cape Mentelle International Cabernet Tasting back in 2011 of the 2008 vintage. Ripe berry fruits with modern oak treatment and that Margaret River herbal trademark. Good concentration and balance with a persistent finish. Impressive. First one since the tasting 5 years ago. Has a great future but in a very good place right now. — 10 years ago
Med to low acid low tannins. Blackberry currant on the nose ripe berries black licorice and pepper. Smooth stars d finish with gentle length — 10 years ago
Medium body, smooth, light fruit flavors. — 11 years ago
Very nice birthday lunch wine. — 11 years ago

Intense, balanced, complex. This Lopez De Heredia Gran Reserva Vina Tondonia Tempranillo 1994 keeps on getting better year after year. The perfect bottle for today, International Tempranillo Day. Perhaps only God could say if and when there will be another so fine, but she's tight-lipped. Assume that very little of this still exists. — 12 years ago

The 2015 Ramey ‘Hyde VIneyard’ Chardonnay is a simply gorgeous new wine that is one of the best of its kind by superstar winemaker, David Ramey. Set on clay loam soils, the strongly marine-influenced Hyde Vineyard has gained an international reputation for producing outstanding Chardonnay grapes. This Carneros bottling shows intense nutmeg, vanilla creme brulee, macadamia nut and heavy whipping cream flavors that impress. Lithe and rich, this gorgeous bottling will cellar well for the next ten to fifteen years. Drink 2019-2033- 94 — 7 years ago
