this is a stunning glass of wine. rich, delicious, smooth, and complex. nose has a bit of petrol with fresh pear and apricots. palate is just beautiful, balanced and smooth with a long finish. love old-ish riesling — 7 years ago
Beautiful chilled in 90 degree weather. Cantaloupe, melon, great mid palate, complex finish. Superb at 11 years. This is why Riesling is becoming my favorite white wine!!! — 7 years ago

Surprisingly good for being so old and so cheap, kinda like what I aspire to be. I did get a hint of classic German petrol, which again is surprising at this price point. — 5 years ago
Star bright medium minus golden hay in appearance. Medium plus intensity on the nose with peach, vinyl and florality. Pallet is high acid, low alcohol off-dry Meyer lemons squeezed over elderflower soda, with distinct vinyl following the aromas. Sparkles in the mouth with excellent clean and long finish. — 7 years ago
Honey. Peach blossoms. Yellow apple. Dried apricots. Candied lime zest. Mineral driven palate with ginger and red pear. Some of that classic petrol aroma. — 7 years ago
Tropical fruit on the nose(maybe mango?) And honeysuckle. Apple notes with a mineral finish. Definitely sweet but beautifully balanced with acid. — 8 years ago
This is an incredible Riesling. Although it is Kabinet, it has just a touch of residual sugar which makes it perfect for spicy foods. — 9 years ago

Really good sweet but not too much really good — 5 years ago
Very rich, fuller bodied, honey and petrol. — 6 years ago
Fabulous! Perfectly aged auslese from a fabulous vintage. Ripe apricot, honeysuckle on the nose. Palate is mouth-coating petrol with honey. Full-bodied and piquant as you’d expect from this classic vineyard. Finish is long and beautiful.
This auslese has less mineral and stone than many others from the Mosel but makes up for it with the full bodied but elegant nature.
Richter usually makes TBA and Eiswein out of this 1 ha vineyard, but in bountiful years, the winery will make a small quantity of auslese.
This wine is hard to find, but get some if you can. Drink one now and cellar the rest for another 20 years. 2007 vintage on Aug 5, 2018. — 7 years ago

Juicy peaches, great acidity (even on night 5!), a touch rich but very, very nice. Still young and a bit sweet. — 4 years ago
