White Cap. Rocking bottle of Domprobst. One of my favorite sites. Sweet or dry. Nose is all mineral powder, some mineral chunks, lime zest, green apple skins, some other deep mineral scents and scant white flowers. Palate is full bodied and dense but also silky and impossibly dry yet ripe. What a tightrope. Juicy and barely sweet but really just ripe and mineral. Sweet tart vibes. So good. Let’s see what air does. — 3 months ago
Needed 30 minutes but what it really needed is 24 hours and it’s getting that. Will report back later. Ahh yeah. 24 hours later this is stunning. Elegant and aristocratic. The sheer class of this is so impressive. Nose has lime zest, vanilla extract, and palate has that 10% opulence hit that just soars into the jagged juicy edges of the finish. 9.5 to 9.7 overnight. Genius. — 6 months ago
Was looking for a Pinot with a bit more structure and opened up this - man, this has evolved beautifully over the last 2y! Showing such finesse & elegance right now, the tannins so fine & smooth and the fruit shining. This is really a beauty to open up now.
Red berries with undergrowth, some tree bark, a hint of exotic spice & orange zest, maybe a whiff of dark cherry. So fresh, so juicy, so enticing!!
On the palate this sings! Impeccably balanced, with great depth & elegance.
Wow. This is quite profound and a stunner!

Green capsule. Exactly what I wanted. Gorgeous Mosel nose of apple pie, apple phyllo dough, slate and pure Graacher lift. Palate is juicy and concentrated, with outrageous acidity and the sweetness acting textural, just a kiss, not sugary. Terrific grip, purity and mineral drive, with a lingering, juicy, dissipating finish. 2022 Mosel is in a great place.
Day two is stunning. Classic Mosel transport: rain on slate, lime Smarties, lime Sweet Tarts, cotton candy and pure vineyard air. Palate is explosive and perfectly pure, with rainwater clarity, sweet lime, Meyer lemon, huge dry extract and outrageous sapidity. Long, clinging, slate-soaked finish. Green capsule is Molitor’s sweet spot. — 4 days ago

So good. What a good Riesling should always taste like. I’d bring it to parties that I’m trying to impress. — 3 years ago
GK. Fantastic. Deep, structured, spicy. Such a glossy texture. Nose has some petrol and vulcanized rubber notes. Such finesse and density. Unreal expansiveness. Finely tuned sweetnesss. — 4 months ago
Wow this has opened up. Nose is so 21 and super steely, citrus, floral and skeletal. Palate is luscious, juicy and nervy with gorgeous fleshy fruit and unreal density yet lightness. Awesome. So dense. Weight of a spatlese but nimble as a Kabinett. Lime zest on the nose now. Seashells. Chablis like. — a year ago
Gold Capsule. I love Markus’ version of this and prefer it to JJ Prum as it’s more reserved and less opulent. Stunning yet subtle nose of green apple, pear and peach plus some apricot notes and vanilla extract. Unreal slate and mineral that is so fine and refined. Just a super perfumed nose. Palate has ridiculous energy and acidity with jaw dropping purity and intense acidity. Racy. Really racy. Palate has terrific peach and green apple fruit. Maybe a skoche honeyed but the mineral/acid spine is just incredible here. Light yet intense and built for the very long haul. Brilliant. Really elegant now with air. Amazing. — 2 years ago

AppyHour recommended. Wegmans helper said it was one of his favorites chill for an hour in fridge. Too cold masks the flavor. Chip enjoyed greatly. — 8 days ago
