Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Kabinett Fuder 6 Riesling

Wow this has opened up. Nose is so 21 and super steely, citrus, floral and skeletal. Palate is luscious, juicy and nervy with gorgeous fleshy fruit and unreal density yet lightness. Awesome. So dense. Weight of a spatlese but nimble as a Kabinett. Lime zest on the nose now. Seashells. Chablis like.

Wow. Just wow. What a nose. Unreal confectionary and lime rock candy. So so pungent. Just like a constant dream of fresh pulverized rocks and lime zest. Palate is lean, proxies and very closed but has gorgeous apricot fruit, stuffing and concentration. Unreal purity and texture. Seems like it could also be 2-3% corked. Let’s see. This was like 2% corked but it’s still a 9.1

This is a crazy wine.
On open it tastes watered down.
An hour in its very interesting.
Nose: ultra fine mineral dust. A memory of lemon flower. Really gorgeous. A GG quality nose.
Palate: filigreed. Elegant. Mineral. The memory of a classic mosel wine.
Needs an hour decant but I’m glad I had this. Classic in its own way.
