I really like this. It’s a little complex and dry but super drinkable straight out of the bottle. A little on the sweeter side. Love it. — 5 years ago

Hidden Niepoort. You did not taste this one. Sorry. — 9 years ago
Unfortified flor-aged 100% Palomino by Dirk Niepoort & Equipo Navazos, sourced from the historic Macharnudo vineyard in Jerez. Fermented in old, 600-liter oak casks with indigenous yeasts and aged for 12 months under flor. Oxidative nose with hints hay and pineapple. Light, mineral, precise and bone dry on the mouth, with nice saltiness and a long, somewhat bitter finish. — 5 years ago

Very intense nose reminiscent of some heavy layer of jam on croissant. 60% milk chocolate 40% dark chocolate kinda thing. My Port obsession continues with Sandeman. Still very attached to Niepoort tho. Dirk knowz — 8 years ago
My favorite barbera. Flavorful and nice finish. Had this one with Dirk Trauner who is hiding behind the bottle. — 8 years ago
Light, smoky, balanced fruit. Very tasty. A great way to start the night. Thanks for a great wine evening @Sean Smith and @Kelli Scheid — 9 years ago
Black cherry, raspberry preserves, stewed fruit, prune, plum and oak. Full-bodied and moderate tannins. — 5 years ago
Amazing Chianti from an amazing (and steadfastly consistent) producer! Super cherry with beautiful tobacco and leather notes ends in a super-long quality finish! Dirk now, then drink some more!! — 6 years ago
