Some slight shock and awe after tasting this 27 year old Zin, one of the first made by Ehren Jordan at Turley. Translucent, ochre colored with a big nose of creamy dark berries and vanilla. Surprisingly light on its feet while being super-rich on the palate (and carrying 17% abv). Almost a port-like finish. Few signs of age other than the slight tint and concentration. Under screwcap. Fresh as a daisy, oddles of juicy and ripe orchard fruits, spring honey, wet rocks, crushed cool herbs. — 9 months ago

Zingy lemon acidity and minerality. This is aging at a glacial pace which is quite annoying...could be this years wine. Come back in 5-10 years. — a month ago
