Waited to get home to try this one. The last bottle was corked. This bottle, not nearly so much! After the last bottle was corked, this bottle was opened the next night. Poured a light straw color. Nose of lemon and herbed buttered popcorn. The entry was acidic and dominated by lemon and Asian pear. Middle of this wine is where the buttered popcorn and kernel notes kicked in. The wine finishes rather acidic, but with good weight and density. I still think this one has quite a few years left in it. The next one to drink is the last 2013 for sure. Drink or hold this one another 3 to 5 years. — 8 years ago

2013 vintage. At Costa Navarino, Greece. Medium lemon hue. On the nose, quite complex - lemon curd, chalky minerality, honeysuckle. On the palate, a little fat, medium acidity, medium plus concentration and fairly long finish. The mineral nature of the wine is more apparent on the mid palate. Very enjoyable. Drink now until 2023+. — 10 years ago
This one, on the other hand, did smack me in the face with a surprising streak of lean almost metallic minerals cutting through. — 10 months ago

Orange Chicken demands this wine. It's mid November and I cannot stop drinking lovely whites and rosés. God bless you @William Allen - Two Shepherds ! — 10 years ago

I’d love to put this Seneca Lake Riesling in a blind tasting of German Auslese. Honeyed bright peach fruit on the nose. Terrific flavor intensity. Rich fruit and great balance in the mouth. The flavor density suggests greater residual sugar than it actually has. This is a special Riesling. Never heard of this winery before; a guest who visited the winery brought it to the party. — 9 months ago
