A lovely blend from Priorat of around 50/50 Garnacha and Carinena, sometimes with a little Merlot included in some years. A red and black fruited palate with ripe blackcurrant. Opulent. I have a previous Delectable note for this wine - 77? Weeks ago. Reinforces my love of Priorat and Garnacha in particular. From the producer’s oldest vines - approximately 110 years. The 14.5% Alcohol does not show at all. — 3 months ago

Excellent. Was worried I was opening too early due to a past experience with Clos de Mez (but the Morgon). I did give it a solid 5 hours of air. With a slight chill and paired with some chicken thighs just delicious. Great balance of fruit, earth, minerality, bit of spice, and acid. Nice long finish with good persistence. One to seek out. Vintage 2021 | Either the wine is closed, either the smell is introverted. Berries, chocolate, cedar. Obviously still tannins, but good balance and nice bitters. Good example of old vines wine. — 9 months ago
