20230407 Hotel Restaurant Kranz Luttingen/BRD mit Wakano für Agility Wettkampf 7. & 8. April Albbruck.
Sehr schöner Wein, scheint mit Schwarzer Schiefer für BRD gelabled zu sein.
Trotzdem für € 41 ein sehr angenehmer, tief roter, etwas herber Wein mit 14.5%.

Juicy, bright, hint of vanilla on the the nose, candied red fruit. — 4 years ago
Finished in Sherry casks. Very cool savory element to this. Salty minerality and green apple. Very unique but reminds me somewhat of dry Alsace Riesling — 4 years ago
Aromas of baked apples, apricots, nutty and waxy. On the pallet it’s crispy and refreshing with taste of green apples, creamy with a mid to full body mouth feel. — 6 years ago
One of the best whites I’ve ever had. Great balanced minerality and acidity — 6 years ago
2016 vintage, had it with chicken tender salads for lunch. Excellent summertime wine! Dry, crisp, with apricot notes. — 6 years ago

Great choice with a good steak. Starts off a bit dry but opens up nicely with some air. A bit musty with ripe cherries, and a hint of dark chocolate. — 4 years ago
This is a beautiful Carménère, all earthy and full of savory minerality. The blackberry and black plum aromas creep through the smell of that dirt with tar, forest floor and tobacco all over them. A hint of vanilla sweetens the sniff a bit. On the palate, the dark fruit is draped in sweet oak spice, and you’ll find a bucketful of tannins until the glass has been sitting for awhile. This is a steak wine, intended for a big, juicy piece of beef. — 5 years ago
Good combination with cheese! — 6 years ago
A bit shy black and purple fruit aromas on this #riberadelduero. Medium plus body on palate; prominent acidity up front on palate, chewier tannins on the finish but with that tartness just so food friendly for ~$13, excellent QPR. #costcowines — 10 months ago

Blend of 60% Grenache, 30% Tempranillo & 10% Graciano, aged for 6 months in used oak, for this debut offering, deep Ruby with aromas of red fruits, floral and spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and red plum with licorice and floral spice. Medium+ finish, fine tannins, good acidity balance, ending with fruit and mineral character. — 4 years ago
Non sweet but light bodied. Like a perfect, lightweight, summary pinot. No fruit. Liked a lot. — 6 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Blend of 85% Tempranillo, 15% Garnacha, Graciano & Mazuelo, was first wine winery ever produced, aged 18 months in 225L barrels. Deep Ruby color with aromas of fruit, earthy forest floor and woodsy notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and plum with cedar, tobacco, leather and smoky notes. Fine chalky tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, tobacco, toasty cedar and earthy mineral character. Nice now! Good value! — 7 months ago
