Jordy’s bday! Silky, smooth with a sweet finish — 4 years ago
A charming left bank blend with a high percentage of CF for 15’. Blueberry, cassis, espresso, dried herbs, and lavender. Hint of crushed rocks too. Medium to full body. A harmonious palate with round gentle acidity, lush texture, and grainy yet polished firm elegant tannins. Lingering lightly candied finish.
Finesse and classy, yet so approachable. — 4 years ago
12.5%. Very very good. Hint of brett - tart and closed. But boy is this complex. Earthy, Kashmir red pepper, perhaps even a hint of tomatoes 🍅. Orange bitters on the back palate. Like silk much better than many Burgs I had in the last six months. From Max Kogod and I will buy the last bottle and the other cuvée from this producer best Trousseau I had in a long time! — 6 years ago
I still remember the very 1st Champagne visit I had 12yrs ago with Pierre, it's so great to come full circle. This is rich, but balanced, a great apple tarte tartin quality to it when opened, so showed development, but being VV it's understandable. After being open for an hour everything came alive, white florals, beautiful minerality. Outstanding wine. — 8 years ago
2020 vintage.
This is always a fantastic wine for the price.
White flowers, white peach and wet stone on the nose.
Fruity and floral with golden apples, yellow peach.
Intense, round and fresh with lots of citrus and green almond on the finish. Beautiful citrus and mineral finish with one not overwhelming the other.
We sautéed local Ling Cod fillets and Spot Prawns with this. — 3 years ago
Probably the best munjebel I’ve ever had. Just an outrageously perfumed and gorgeous nose. It has an earthy texture and high wire grace and tension that frame up the ripeness wonderfully. But honestly I’d be happy just smelling it; the bouquet is a complete sentence — 4 years ago
Great wine alone without a meal. Every day drinking. — 6 years ago
I've always liked Vietti's labels and the Barbera d'Asti Tre Vigne is a delightful departure from their usual illustrations from nature. Unlike the label art of a mask, and indeed of the mask from the El Gato Chimney painting behind, nothing is being hidden here. Overt and plummy and floral too, this 2010 reminds me why I love the vintage and how Barbera with a bit of age can be an utter delight. — 7 years ago
Fig, butterscotch, banana, cognac & alcohol dominate the nose. This wine is a monster. So intense and vibrant. Like it could not wait to be freed from the bottle. Nice tannins and acid. Flavors of biscuit, rhubarb & ripened light fruit. This wine makes you happy to love wine. Very fortunate to come across this bottle. 2006 vintage

Nose - pineapple, lemon zest, vanilla. Taste - citrus fruit and great vanilla flavor, little bit of caramel. Full bodied, with a good balance. Really good! — 5 years ago
Amazing fresh fruit with violets, punchy red fruit with a lifted cherry quality. Very supple and dynamic with zesty delicious fruit. Excellent — 7 years ago
A very pleasant Nebbiolo. Raspberries bouquet. Went very well with white truffles! 2011 — 7 years ago
Quite a nice Barbaresco, and more accessible at this age than expected. Tannins are very much there but not grippy to the point of overwhelming. Deep earth and dark red fruit. Soft acid on the finish. Nice. — 8 years ago
