Forgot this one in the cellar. Full-bodied, boozy and needs time to open. Prunes, sour cherry, smoke, tar, leather, grilled mint and cumin. A real punch in the face. From Serrralunga. In its drinking range but not a personal favorite

Super elegant with notes of dark cherry, dried roses, faint tar, teak wood, dried herb. It's difficult to pull out individual notes - very cohesive right now with medium plus tannins and chalky finish. Fruit is still lingering, but subtle. Beautiful with roasted beets and braised Swiss chard!

In a great place right now. Bitter chocolate, dark cherry, a little tarry. Best window is probably in next few years

Dark cherry, anise, tar, cedar... At its peak but should hold nicely. A touch of VA but still beautiful.

One of the most powerful expressions of Nebbiolo I've encountered. Tannin and acid are still soaring after 17years. Bouquet is expressive and elegant but it needs another decade or so still to settle into its skin.
