Smooth, complex and drinking well. — 4 years ago
Very juicy, mouthwatering minerality but still quite dry. Excellent wine! — 6 years ago
Nice fruit and acidity. Tannins a little too heavy but otherwise nice. — 7 months ago
Decanted one hour, then rebottled 24 hours. Medium body, tannins subsided, wonderful primary fruit, high acidity. — 10 months ago
Committed to trying more old world wines this year and this is a tasty number to kick that off! Easy drinker, very subtle cherry, not fruity. Definite acid and citrus, light tannins, would go great with red sauce as well as heartier fish. Appealing ruby color. Opened up with some air-time/decanting for sure and would likewise benefit from some cellar time. But a very good vibe even at this young age. — 5 years ago
A bright, refreshing wine with a lot of finesse. Took about 30 minutes in the decanter to open up and settle down the tannins. A lot of raspberry, cherry, and strawberry flavors with some mushroom at the back end. — 8 months ago
Really good Langhe Nebbiolo. — 6 years ago
Excellent. Strong notes of guava and passion fruit on the nose. Dry with a bitter tannic bite on the finish. — 6 years ago

Third langhe Nebbiolo from 2021 I’ve had (after produttori and massolino) and I continue to be impressed - and hopeful for the Barolos / Barbarescos to come! This Starda from Paitin is a bit more generous and a bit less of an acid driven refined finish than the produttori. But still very nice - especially for <$20. — 5 months ago
