All the right things. Cherry. Cassis. Blackberry. Balanced warm vanilla cherry crumble which good riojas are known for. A hint of undergrowth. 2013 drinking superbly in 2025. — 2 months ago
Tasted during WSET Level 2 class on 6/9/25. Very good tenparanillo. Mix of red and black fruits, hints of spice! — 3 months ago
Classic Spanish flag color of yellow with red writing. Good brick red color. Just a hint of a purple core. Aroma is stones and red/black cherry cobblers-pies. Slightest of linseed oils. Flavors are bright, fresh Temp. Crunchy and dry. Just a hint of fennel or oregano. Has a classic feel and flavor. Would be great for watching El Clasico. — 3 months ago

Delicious and refreshingly savory, red fruit, amazing salinity — a month ago
Medium ruby with medium garnet , ruby rim . Quite high toned spicy , sweet red fruit, red plum and cherry , vanilla , with a herbal , earthy touch. On the palate this is quite strict and tannic , lots of structure with decent acidity and red plum , darker cherry , spiced currants , hedgerow fruits, blackberry . Slightly saline , stony finish . Good length and well balanced alcohol . Very young , needs time to integrate. Better in 5-8 years and will last well for a further 10 or so years . — 2 months ago
Deep purple without any brick. Tarry black fruit jam on the nose. Bright grape and jam on the palate. A heavy rendering of Grenache with tons of alcohol. Drink right away with grilled meats. — 2 months ago

Love this for summer and heat and seafood a little effervescent — 2 months ago
BlackBerry, blueberry, black pepper and licorice surrounded with well integrated and soft tannins. While the finish was not as profound as I would have liked this was an excellent wine to represent Priorat’s Garnacha-based blends. — 2 months ago
Dark ruby in color with a short reddish rim.
Full-bodied with medium acidity.
Very dry on the palate with nice complexity and a nice mouthfeel.
Showing black fruits, cedar, licorice, chocolates, dark coffee, pencil lead, earth and peppercorn.
This is a delicious Tempranillo from Ribera Del Duero in Spain. Elegant and rich. Fruit forward and nicely balanced.
Starting to drink beautifully now, and needs a couple of hours to open up properly, so be patient.

This 5 year old Tempranillo is already complex, and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.
Easy drinking and good by itself or with food.

Blueberry and blackberry taste, leather aroma, very smooth — 7 months ago
Not your standard jammy Monastrell: deep wafting (mostly) dark fruited aromas, licorice & minerals, just oozing - peppery notes as well. Broad smooth on palate (med + weight) not much acidity, rugged tannins leading to modest finish. Great QPR @ Costco — 8 months ago
Good for the price. — 9 years ago
