Lemon rind, yellow and green apple, petrol, ginger spice, doughy yeastiness, intense minerality, mouthwatering acidity. Delicious salinity.
Tropical notes of pineapple just starting to emerge.
Fades to a lovely lemon curd, lemon candy finish. 93

Was a long ago present from Theo. Drank with daveed on his 51st birthday in point Reyes. May have lost some its fruit but the nose is beautifully rich, old word woody and the taste has a bright cherry compote with deep wooden tones. Lovely. Year: 2000 — 9 years ago
Great easy drinker with enough complexity to keep us interested...would love more @Max Kogod — 9 years ago

Found in a wine shop in bigfork, Montana. On a two week trip we bought 3 bottles. Good acid, not too heavy or thick, no oak taste,, perfect with food — 5 years ago
2017 vintage. Concentrated fruit flavors of apricot nectar, perfectly ripe peaches, mango, pineapple, lychee, a little green banana skin, jasmine, a saffron note. Definite sweetness, but the acid comes through and delivers a very long finish. — 6 years ago

On the Lawn at Tanglewood this afternoon with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Our conductor Andris Nelsons is leading GERSHWIN (Piano Concerto in F), GERSHWIN (Variations on “I Got Rhythm,” for piano and orchestra) and STRAVINSKY (Petrushka) with the amazing Jean-Yves Thibaude as the piano soloist on the two first works presented today. Jean-Yves is by far among our favorite pianists to grace the Koussevitzky Shed stage, so graceful, yet poignant!
Hot days call for cool wines, today there are some fun ones planned for sharing.
Nose has blackberry jam on toasted brioche, violet,
bruised Tai basil, blueberry seeds and crushed ripe black currant.
Palate has peppered black raspberry, black cherry, tomato leaf and well concentrated blueberry jam.
@Carla Hine Thanks for sharing, top candidate for wine of the afternoon, along with the Minges Scheurebe!!! — 6 years ago
