Fresh compost, garrigue and decaying red fruit on the nose. Fresher red fruit and potting soil on the palate. This is funky and funky and delicious can be.

Medium ruby color and a pronounced nose of raspberry, violet and a spice note reminiscent of sandalwood incense. Lovely medium body with silky texture. Good acid balance for food pairing and a long lovely finish. Wonderful evocation of serious Beaujolais

A nose of raspberry liqueur, rosewater, sappy pine/stem aromas, and horsey/leathery gaminess. Soft, silky, and with a wonderful sweetness. This bottle was clean as a whistle and just wonderful.

Anise, truffle, cranberry stew. Good weight and firm, lengthy tannins. Many years left in the bottle. Truly a Grand Vin
