A bit too oaky for my taste, but good for what it is. — 10 months ago
Intense spiced berry, black licorice and peppery florals emerge from the 2017 Terre di San Leonardo. Silky with depths of fruit accelerated by brisk acids, the 2017 leaves the palate reeling, with its spry, lightly structured personality. This young-vine Bordeaux blend is an amazing value. $22.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, January 2022) — 2 years ago
Dark ruby color. Peppery smell. Floral, ripe red fruit. Nice acidity, but mostly silky smooth and juicy. Very drinkable by itself, and a flavor profile that I very much enjoy. Purchased from Vons. — 4 months ago
Ruby dress. Multi-dimensional nose announcing a beautiful density: paradoxical green notes of mint, eucalyptus, then bark, then resin, roasting, cedar, vanilla, finally the fruit is revealed behind the tertiary and evolutionary notes (earth, humus, truffle). The bouquet is compact and consistent. The tannins are wide, and the acidity is medium. A wine on the scale that can withstand fatty and juicy dishes without any problem. Can age
Robe rubis. — 2 years ago

May or may not have cost $78. (Joke won’t age well). Quite a bit detectable brett funk here, but still tasty. — 8 months ago
Fruity and perfectly balanced. — 3 years ago
Very dark, almost inky. Dark fruits: a blackberry, a plum - all dry. An oak with some leather and spicy finish. High acidity. — 3 years ago

Terrific Nerello from a winery that never dissappoints. Very perfumed, soft tannins and nice fruit. — 7 days ago
