Very nice for an inexpensive wine. Full bodied, a little smokey but also fruity at the same time. Watching a British show but drinking Italian! That's okay Britain isn't exactly well known for wine anyway!

Somewhat unpleasant aroma. Pretty standard red with nothing to set it apart. Put some in a pot of bolognese that turned out well. Would cook with it again but would find something better to drink.

Very weak all around. Could be labeled as a light bodied wine. Not what one expects from a Nero D' Avola. Disappointing!
