Really enjoyed this. Like a nice Chardonnay — 2 years ago
Interesting indigenous grape. You might think Cab Franc, Syrah, especially from the nose, but for all it’s bruising, it’s light,
11.5° rarely exceeding 12°. Bright dark cherries, minimal tannins, just enough for pasta with meat. With a slight chill, a really nice summer quaff. — 5 months ago
Very tasty with strawberry and fennel notes with a sharper, acidic finish. — 3 months ago
Much more enjoyable than the 2016. Deep ruby color. Black pepper, tar and late-season lilac on the nose. Medium-body but layered flavor with granite, vanilla, crushed red pepper and old boot leather...kind of a salty finish. I don’t remember how much I paid for this, but whatever it was, I would have paid more. Fantastic! — 6 years ago

Expressive, dark, yet joyful.
black brambly fruit, with some dark plum, fig, walnut and some exotic spices. A hint of volatile acidity adds freshness. There’s a touch of dried orange peel, too and loads of dried herbs.
Mid weight on the palate with juicy, slightly rustic tannins, fresh acidity and good fruit. Savoury sweet, with some earthy notes and yet, somehow, brilliant freshness.
This is really good! — 6 days ago
