The wine looks very dark in the glass. The nose is bold, with big cherry, raspberry and blueberry aromas. There are also notes of oak, but just trace amounts. A caramel aspect floats from the glass periodically. The palate is full of bold fruit and a passel of tannins, as my grandparents might have said, had they ever talked about tannins. The fruit dominates the flavor profile. The name on the label isn’t too far off. You might think it is a CDP while sipping it. — 10 days ago

v18. Very good! Soft smoke and tobacco nose. Fresh raspberry, cherry and blackberry fruit. Bright, long, chocolate, earth and leather finish. Enjoyable! — 2 months ago

Deep ruby color; cassis, oak, and black cherries on the nose; high acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like blackberries, plums, graphite, and crushed gravel with a long finish. Structures of world style with enough fruit to satisfy my new world palate. Nellie says it's ok. I love it. — 4 days ago
Outstanding value of a red blend, with beefy red-black fruit flavors but medium body, impressive smoothness, and a lithe raspberry finish. — a month ago

Dark blackish purple. Inviting nose of blueberry compote and overripe blackberry. Full bodied palate confirms the nose adding tarry oak in the back palate and finish. All supported by juicy medium plus acidity and wrapped in firm but velvety tannins. Finish is long and continues the palate. A polished Tannat that shows why it's the signature variety of Uruguay where it fits the country's beef culture like a dark tannic glove. Drink now through 2031. — 13 days ago
