Easter 2018 with Desiree, Aling, Jennifer and Bernadette. Plus my boys. — 7 years ago
Wonderful acidity zips through the mouth. Initial nose is of peaches and moves into elderflowers and white grape jelly. Despite the sweet smell stays dry. Medium-long finish with a rich mouthfeel. — 10 months ago
2018, very good with roast beef! Smooth, good taste, good sipping. Would like to try with cheese and see if it holds up
Would need a sharp cheddar. Repeat depending on price — 4 years ago
second chablis from a zoom blind tasting with a friend preparing for a test.
a little better than the last one.
high acidity.
medium - body
citrusy. salty.
i was even guessing oak 🙈 as its so balanced.
paired lovely with quarantine McDonald's kids had for lunch (not so good food which was no surprise), orange soup (mainly sweet potato with chopped fresh green onion) and leek cutlet with pepper sauce.
no wonder chablis is so big in israel and the whole world. simple, tasty and satisfying. especially for it's price. stating the obvious, but still.
excellent vfm (70 nis). — 4 years ago

It's time for #MerlotThursday!
Dark ruby in color with a nice reddish rim.
Fruity nose of blackberries, blueberries, cherries, toast, licorice, vanilla, cedar, mocha, coffee, chocolates, spices and black pepper.
Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, cherries, raspberries, wood, licorice, vanilla, earth, spices, light vegetables, pencil lead and peppercorn.
Medium plus on the finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.
This Napa Merlot is always enjoyable. Well balanced with mild complexity and a nice tangy finish. Lately, I'm really into Napa Merlots.
Good right out of the bottle and gets better in 30 minutes. Peeking now.
I paired it with cheeses and crackers, and will pair very nicely with BBQ Meats as well.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
89 points.

Ray Vanderhoff
Primarily Cabernet Sauvignon with small amounts (6%) of Merlot and Malbec blended in. Dark ruby color. Aromas of black cherry/currants, violets and toffee. The palate is also black fruit focused with additional flavors of chocolate, black licorice and black pepper. Touch of vanilla and fresh herbs on the medium length finish. The tannins have smoothed out and the acidity is quite bright. More medium bodied and subtly sweet. Easy drinker. — 10 months ago
