Savagnin, Chardonnay, and Garganega. One may think we’re now in France but you’d be wrong. Definitely one of my favorite producers from Adelaide Hills - “Manon” - and a proud moment to see the gems coming out of Australia. No added sulfites, shipped all the way from Australia to Copenhagen and it’s stable and powerful and bursting with character. Medium bodied, good minerality, a welcomed velvety texture with nice acidic balance. Notes of kiwi, pear, orange peel and delicate floral notes. Although I’m an advocate of drinking good wine whenever and wherever you get the chance, I’d have to say this is a food wine. I suggest a simple pesto pasta or any type of seafood, really. Very nice pinot... the tasting room in Santa Barbara is great too — 6 years ago
Bought this bottle 5 years ago. I really liked this wine back then but my tastes have changed a lot. I was happy that this turned out to be much more enjoyable than I thought it would. Quite nice. — 7 years ago
I was up at my wine locker today and there was a gentleman setting up for a private event. I introduced myself and he was the winemaker for Paradise Ridge. Dan was very kind and opened up this Sauv Blanc for me to try as he told me how their winery was completely burned to the ground by the fires in the fall. They lost their entire ‘17 vintage. Since their home burned down, Dan is taking his “home” to people around the country. Just another reminder that even though the fires are gone, the wineries still are hurting and need your support.
This is all estate fruit. Very pale and balanced SB. Tropical stone fruits, and minimal oak presence...almost non-existent. Yet it still has the backbone that shows it could age. Easy drinking. Screw cap. — 8 years ago

Outstanding wine from Blankiet. Got to spend some time here in August, and the estate looks like a small piece of Bordeaux. The estate is in Yountville, in their little corner called Paradise Hill. What you get is a Bordeaux style wine, showing Napa fruit, but not jammy rich density that Napa Cabs tend to equate to. Blended with all 5 Bordeaux varietals and usually at least 78% Cab Sauv, it shows a fragrant, floral nose with fresh pressed red berries and light gravel dust undertones. The pallet is lush and very elegant, showing ripe black plum and red apple skin, nice olive undertones, with some clove spices and a beautiful lingering finish. This is for the Bordeaux lover that wants Napa. 2013 was a successful vintage, thanks for another great wine Blankiet! #blankiet — 9 years ago
Katie thought it was a 9.1 Cody thought it was an 8.7. Very lite easy to drink, very fruity — 4 years ago
My fault for letting that humidity get to the red paper that wrapped the bottle. Damage only limited to the label, thankfully. Concentrated red and blue fruit. Focused on the palate with a long finish. Tannins are really integrated and this bottle is 100% pleasure! — 6 years ago
2013 a bit oaky still nice to drink — 7 years ago
Light body. Fruity sweet and sour strawberry aroma. Tastes sweet with a pleasant sourness. Astringent smell and taste dissipates as it decants. Hint of licorice at the end back end. — 8 years ago
Deep ruby red with fine sediment. Nose is dark fruits mixed with spices herbs. A touch smoky with black pepper and a little forest floor as well. Moderate tannins (6/10) and medium bodied. A bit of heat at the back of the mid palate but dissipates with some air. Layered with dark fruits, a touch spicy, and a little bit of black olives. Finish still lingers with some damp leaves and earthiness. Drink till 2020. — 9 years ago
Delicious, lemon and brioche. Really nice. 🍾 — 9 years ago
I thought I would do something fun this Halloween season and post some “creepy” wines and pair them with some fun cheese. This is a nice blend from Paso Robles, medium body, dark garnet in color. Very tannic with notes of rhubarb and raspberry. I wish I could eat this cheese by the mouthful. It’s a Wensleydale cheese from the UK with strawberry and Prosecco. So sweet, it really offsets the tannins in the wine. 💀🍷🧀 — 5 years ago
2016 vintage, very reliable fun wine for the budget. Easy drinking yet flavorful. — 7 years ago
Located just east of St. Helena in Napa where Conn Creek flows out of Howell Mountain. Their 26 acres of vineyards are in the heart of this 40-acre grape-growing paradise. Mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with a touch of Petit Verdot. A big wine with complex fruit and spice aromas. Juicy black berry fruits, with underlying smooth sweetness combined with smoke, spice and oak. Well structured, tannins still tight, gave in after 90 minutes, ending with earthy pepper character. Enjoyable now but let it sit in cellar. — 8 years ago

Brought out the heavyweights for this weekend and Paradise is an undisputed champion. 💪
Picked up last year on our Willamette Valley tour and so glad we stopped to see Dan @ Utopia.
None of his wines have disappointed. 🍷
