Deep ruby red with fine sediment. Nose is dark fruits mixed with spices herbs. A touch smoky with black pepper and a little forest floor as well. Moderate tannins (6/10) and medium bodied. A bit of heat at the back of the mid palate but dissipates with some air. Layered with dark fruits, a touch spicy, and a little bit of black olives. Finish still lingers with some damp leaves and earthiness. Drink till 2020.
