Zanasi Società Agricola ‘Bruno Zanasi’ Lambrusco Grasparosso Di Castelvetro DOP: Big & juicy taste. Light carbonation. Vibrant nose with fresh & ripe flavors. Strawberry. Cherry. Cranberry. Long, medium-dry finish. Frizzante fun with this great Emilia-Romagna sparkling wine. Can’t wait to return! Cheers🍷 — 3 years ago
This is a full-bodied & concentrated 100% Aglianico from Campania, Italy. The vineyards are understood to be 200-years old in Campi Taurasini, hence the name of the wine ‘Bicento’ (twice hundred). This makes them the oldest in Europe. The wine is robust, intense, pitch dark with firm, dusty tannins. The finish is very good, with dark berry, black plum, licorice, & spice flavours — 3 years ago

A new white for me. Had this at an Italian wine tasting at a new local wine store. I don’t think I have had white wine from the region of Paternopoli. Evidently this wine was introduced by the Greeks along the Tyrrhenian coast. The name comes from the characteristic shape of the cluster, whose grapes are grouped in pairs. Lovely hints of tropical fruit and very light. So delicious! Will pair with pasta and white sauce and a nice salad. Lovin it! Oh and by the way…I really have tried to be good this year! 😜 — 3 years ago

Wine from shop in Amalfi (coastal wine). Very good. — 3 years ago
Cinnamon and cloves on bouquet and palate combined those with red fruit though may get a little plum mid palate. Smooth to course tannins that add to the long lasting mouthfeel. Like a lot. 1 more bottle. Drink in next 5 — 3 years ago
Very pleasant Pinot Noir fermented and aged in terracotta amphorae. Smell of small red fruits it’s very juicy on the palate with good acidity and freshness. — 3 years ago
Last fall, I had the distinct pleasure of tasting a wine from AnneSanti for the first time. On that occasion, it was the Rosso, served blind. It ended up being one of the more memorable wines of 2020! On this occasion, I was presented with the Bianco (not blind). The wine was very light in color. On the nose, minerals, linen, chamomile, white flowers, stony, citrus and honey. On the palate, I found it to be quite brisk but in a very good way with light stone fruits and citrus notes. There was really nice persistent acid with a long, mineral driven finish that worked so well with the smoked trout. This is a fantastic aperitivo. I want this wine outdoors on a warm day with Gabin, dZihan & Kamien and Gotan Project playing in the background accompanied by light Mediterranean fare and, most importantly, some good mates. Overall, having now tasted two wines from this producer, I am eager to try them all. — 4 years ago
Probably the best croatina I’ve ever had! Okay, prob the only one I’ve ever had. Another Lou classic, earthy, funky, tart cherries, beautiful ruby color and barnyard nose. — 5 years ago

This one took an hour or so to open up, but once it did it was amazing! Baking spices and dark fruit on the nose and palate. The varietal composition for this wine seems to vary by vintage, but this '18 was all merlot. Funny, this bottle was a substitution for a different one that ended up being out of stock. I think I enjoyed this one more than I would have enjoyed my first choice! 100% Merlot. 2/5/23. — 3 years ago
