Still really great acidity, and ripe fruit, the cork disintegrated upon trying to open, but was not dry. Surprisingly very very good. — 4 years ago
Still youthfully dark in color with a very slight browning on rim. Upon opening still very tight and shy on nose. Decided to decant this for 3.5h prior our Christmas dinner and it started to open around 3h mark. Then it was a great Barbaresco from Treiso offering slightly darker side of Nebbiolo expression with ripe cherry, some leather and smoke, fine pepper notes. Healthy acidity and fine tannins offers solid back bone for further aging and development. I take this is 2-3 years from peak and should continue to drink several years after that. Glad I have 2 more bottles. This was a fabulous qpr back then at 23€/bottle — 5 years ago
Lemon meringue and chalk. Complete and satisfying, balancing freshness and savor. Riesling-like energy. Always one of the most sophisticated Chardonnays from anywhere in Italy. #grasso #piemonte #chardonnay #langhe — 7 years ago
smooth but full, good with a red meat. Would get again — 8 years ago
The lovely colour of this Nebbiolo, which is ever so slightly pink, adds a great sense of occasion. The nose suggests jam and something like currant. The bouquet includes the flavour of a sweet red apple. The finish is long, with pepper and plum. — 7 months ago

Solid Barolo. 50 euros in a restaurant. Light and not super bold like most Barolos, but pleasant. — 2 years ago
Juicy, bright, lightly effervescent and awesome. Fun bright light great. — 5 years ago
Delicious and different. Oxidative, rich. Not a beginner wine. — 7 years ago
Sourced from 65 year old vines, sitting in rich clay soils. Medium Ruby with complex aromas of berry fruits, oak and fresh floral scents. On the palate dried tart cherry, tobacco, licorice, espresso and fresh herbs give this full-body wine grace and elegance. Soft fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit and earthy notes, well balanced, enjoyable now and has room to run over the next decade. Very Nice! — 8 months ago
Medium+ garnet, with a tinge of orange-brown color around the rim. Raspberry and cherry nose, along with that pencil shavings smell. Second hour of air, secondary scents unfolded with some mint, spices and lightly roasted coffee beans. Feels quite Burgundian. Silky tannins. Not much gripping. Mid weight on the palate. Nice acidity; not overly tart. Surprisingly long. The taste lingered for quite a while. 91-92. — 6 years ago

Like most 10’s this was structured showing silky tannins surrounded by cherry, berry fruit, balsamic, spice, licorice, leather, rose petal & tobacco notes — 5 months ago
