From 6ft, lovely fizz and fruity, good balance with acid and hint of tannens on the end — 5 years ago
Really pretty blend. Musty and mineral-y. Not too fruity, subtle tannins. Very nice. — 5 years ago
Very bright, citrus, lime, wet rock. Good price for petit Chablis. — 7 years ago
2016 light and crisp. Nice summer wine. Ideal with baked cod served with tomato and black olives. — 8 years ago
I love French butter almost as much as I love French wine. Get you one who can do both? 😂 #pghwinefestival — 8 years ago
Nice little wine — 9 years ago
Intense aromas and flavors of mushroom, tobacco leaf, black tea with just a hint of black cherry fruit. Hints of meat, Forrest Floor and leather. All of the tertiary/savory notes come to the forefront and the fruit stays in the background. Lighter in body. Dark garnet color. — 4 years ago
Bright red berry fruit aromas and flavors with earthy hints of tobacco and cocoa. Hint of baking spice on the nice finish. Medium bodied and quite rich. Nice. Thank You Ron B! — 5 years ago

We were lucky to have probably the benchmark for the Roussanne grape about a month ago with the Chateau Beaucastel. This Yangarra was not as stone fruit fleshy as the old vine Beaucastel. Skinnsy notes from being fermented in ceramic eggs Two thirds fermented on skins with extended contact; one third fermented without skins. A full bodied white on the palate with notes of Quince with some viscosity and low acid finishing with some bitterness from those skins which is good. Grows on you with each sip. In summary a very good new world Roussanne. Had my last one 57 weeks later on 29/6/22 with similar notes although there was a strange unidentifiable note on the palate. Nutty. — 5 years ago
Unreal nose. Just so beautiful. Huge perfume. Seashells. Oyster shells. Unmistakably Chablis. So so mineral. There is no fruit. An exercise in a blast of terroir so intense you gotta be a wine geek to enjoy it. Salty. White pepper. A perfume that is broad and precise. Really really beautiful. Palate terrific and has some ripe fruit, green apple mostly, a nice hit of richness in the texture, good purity and a lonely initial blast of fruit/mineral concentrate and then the finish is all seashells that linger. Excellent wine for the appellation.
As it airs it picks up weight on the palate. Terrific wine for no money. So salty and fresh. — 6 years ago
Carmine gave us just what we asked for: a lighter to medium body red with low tannins and mild earth. This fit the ticket perfectly- a delicious French wine in an Italian restaurant! — 8 years ago

Bracing acidity. — 8 years ago
Fairly pale color, high citrus as is to be expected, fairly well rounded. — 9 years ago

White flower aromas lead with notes of honey and toasted almonds. Hint of baking spices. Ripe Peach, melon and lemon fruit dominate the pallet with a hint of pie dough and those baking spices. Nice long finish and creamy texture. Really developing well with a bit of age. Appreciate you sharing this one, Ron B! — 4 years ago
