Holy mama. The drink by dates here are WAY OFF. 2009-2017....RI-DIC-U-LOUS. You would think this wine was maybe 3-4 years old. Youthful nose of 'Girl Scout Samoa' (now Caramel deLites) and the palate was black fruit and pencil shavings and , youthful as can be. Inky viscous wine all in the corners of your mouth. Stays there for at least 2 minutes. This wine has a youthful sweet cinnamon overripe blackberry pie note that still has tannin on the back that has not completely resolved. If you have these, it's best to probably sit on them for about 2 or 3 years. Although drinking very well now, if you pop this one you're going to be getting the more youthful side of Bella's here. — 6 years ago
Girl scout cookies, snow day & wine — 7 years ago
This is so complex, I smell key lime custard and mint Girl Scout cookies, the texture is oily and the acid cuts like a knife, I might be in love here. Serious, this is amazing. — 8 years ago
S&C - Pink Pinot Grigio - good, crisp — 3 years ago
Best Australian Shiraz I think I've ever had and I can say that with absolute confidence. At almost 20 years of age, this one is something special. Nose of eucalyptus and roasted black fruit. Cedar. Entry still has sweeter roasted blackberry and tar. This is a monster. I was getting some coconut and chocolate. Tasted like a girl scout Samoa cookie. And that is an absolute compliment since that is my favorite. Finish with roasted tannin which is a bit soft but still very present. Lots of black pepper on the finish. Amazing. I could have downed the whole thing myself, but I had to share. Darn it! Drink now or you could probably hold this another 10 years! — 4 years ago

Light start and full body finish. Even better when paired with Girl Scout cookies. — 7 years ago
Nice surprise for $40 bucks. Some great mint on the nose and palate- reminds me of a Girl Scout Thin Mint in a good way. Fruit could be a little more assertive, but overall very unique for a reasonable price. Revising to 9.3 after an hour decant. For whatever reason this one's got my number. — 8 years ago
Been holding on to this one for a bit. This one needed about an hour and a half to fully express. Initially the news resembled one of those girl scout cookies that used to be called Samoas. A little bit of coconut, chocolate, oatmeal, herbaceous, red fruited. Rather interesting, so I left it alone. An hour later, red and black fruits on the nose but there was still an herbaceousness and oatmeal character. Entered medium + bodied. Red and black fruit with red clay kind of character. More classic Rutherford dust up front. Black pepper and bell pepper and sweet tobacco to the middle and finish. Hint of red licorice and oregano. Really neat wine. Old world. Great finesse. — 5 years ago

Fruit forward but not sweet. Hints of Syrah's standard notes but much lighter, no oak. — 7 years ago

One of a very few wines that I can easily say that I don’t remember many characteristics of the wine but thoroughly enjoyed it. Not overly complex but smooth, medium to medium low tannins and could see this going well with just about any meal. This edition is from Washington and keeps me looking for more wines from that state. — 3 years ago
