I’m a fan. Opened one of my earliest purchases from the winery, and it’s so good. Ruby red, very good clarity, light to moderate pigment extraction. Black currant, raspberry and blackberry in nose with a hint of funk, red fruit galore in the mouth. Light skin and seed tannins, enough to remind you it’s still grape juice, albeit fermented. Really well crafted and balanced. Raspberry flavors starts early, cherry and some cranberry come later. Layers of red fruit depth, worth the wait. — 6 years ago
If I was tasting blind, I would’ve said RRV Pinot. Aromas of cola, red fruit and cloves. Those aromas transferred to my palate where they were met by a healthy dose of acid. An extended finish. Despite a reasonable 13.5% alcohol, at about 3 hours it stared to make its presence known. — 10 months ago

Truncated family party notes. This wine was so relaxed and comfortable in its skin. Deep flavors. Soft, luxurious texture. Vines this old are so quietly confident they don’t feel the need to try to impress anyone. I hope I reach this state someday. — 10 months ago
Very nice. Heavier hitting but balanced. Tabacco and earth tones with dark red fruit that is not balanced. — 3 years ago
Nice bouquet, plum flavors. — 4 years ago
Solid pinot, grassy, delicious. Easy drinking. Grassy to fruit. But not too much. Great with pasta on a Tuesday. — 6 years ago

My neighbor who is a Scotch guy brought this out. He wasn’t so keen on it. I liked it. Cranberry with a splash of smokiness. — 6 months ago
