Feb 19th, 2016This new vintage of the perennially excellent Pinot Noir does not fail to disappoint. Fruity rather than oaky, it is light bodied with bright acidity and light currants and dark plum, with hints of mocha in the finish. A great food wine for people who dislike the bombastic smoky French style of PN. We paired with walnut crusted salmon, sautéed spinach, pan fried broccoli, and almond pilaf style couscous.
