Schioppettino. Rustic, earthy funkiness. Blackberries, citrus pith, white pepper, brambles. Apparently rare in the US, from Fermented Grapes. — 4 years ago
Yummy bottle. Deliciously soft texture with an unmistakable spiciness on the back of the palate. Ripe fruit, black pepper, slightly herbaceous. Stunning bottle...great way to end a Monday! — 5 years ago

This is a spectacular Schioppettino! Peppery, spicy, gorgeous strawberry and blackberry, and fresh acidity on the finish. — 6 years ago
Wow. Amazing earth and perfume nose, cherry and spice flavor. This Schioppettino and Refosco blend is a truly great wine, and is now (2017) ready for drinking. I'm surprised by its low Vivino scores. — 7 years ago
It may be the lockdown talking but i am very impressed. Big fruit but not too sweet for me. — 4 years ago
I had no expectations going in for this one— I had never heard of the grower or the varietal (Schioppettino - “little rifle”) before. Spicy pepper and blackberry on the nose, it manages to maintain both of those whilst adding tannins and acids for a balanced, yet very interesting wine. It’s all the more interesting for being a part of the “Vini Veri” movement: no pesticides or GMOs, or alterations to fermentation. Well worth a try. — 6 years ago
