Delicious after an hour decant — 7 years ago
@David L going John Wall superstar style with his 4 Mag contribution of this dense, vivid beauty. After we consumed about 2 gallons of wine each we hit up the patio fire pit for some s’mores and he ordered up 2 bottles of ‘10 Realm Bard. He’s a beast. — 8 years ago

Bold with a smooth finish. Definite notes of berry but not overwhelming. Loved it but can find pinots I love even more for less than half the price. — 9 years ago
More typical of Sonoma Pinot noir, light, red fruit, but very fresh and airy on the palate without being shallow. — 9 years ago
Yes...again. Second bottle of this in 3 days. — 10 years ago
Medium– acidity, smooth, floral and full. I get strong ripe pear, melon, melon pulp, vanilla bean, lilies, white flowers, oak, apple pie and pannacotta. Smooth on the palate, dry+ with lots of pastry and fruit. Great wine, but I wish for a bit more acidity. — 11 years ago
I had to buy it to get on the list for an allocation of the good Pinot but it is surprisingly tasty !!! — 12 years ago
Bought at Costco for $25 or so. Warm colors and lovely fruits of pinot noir. Worth the money — 6 years ago
How a young PN should drink. — 7 years ago
Love this wine! Light, and delicious, very coastal and cool. Tannins are poppin’ in this wine. Love 👏🏽 it 👏🏽 might be one of my new favs for easy drinking. Pairs with a light meat dish or a meatier fish. — 7 years ago
Alcohol strikes in the beginning, let it rest for 30 minutes.
Nice depth of color, fresh aromas, a little bit acidity on the pallet. — 7 years ago
1986 vintage. At Au Fils du Zinc in Chablis - thank you Fabian for picking the best white wine experience of the year. This was a wine that Mr Raveneau didn't release because he thought there was too much oak and sulphur. Only recently did they realise they had a gem. Medium golden hue. Honeyed, white peach, lemon pieces, iodine and crushed rock minerality. Slight bovril note and sea shell with air. Amazing complexity. On the palate, perfect balance between fresh acidity and body, highly concentrated and layers of complexity. Very very long. Outstanding. Still fresh enough to last another 7-10 years at least. — 8 years ago
Smooth and spicy. Great with a steak and chimichurri Sauce. Affordable. Dark currant and tobacco. Let it breathe. — 9 years ago
Quite a ripe mouthful of fruity deliciousness — 10 years ago
Lightly colored. Expressive nose that could be described as a mix of lemon juice poured over rocks and sea shells, very mineral and fresh. On the palate it is tight, fresh, salty and mineral with crispy green apple over a vigorous acidity. A real summer wine! Very good+ (89)
Made of Muscadet from 60 year old vines of a 3 ha vineyard. Aged 7 months on lees. Alcohol level of 12% #dansmonverre — 11 years ago
Smoky, Spicy and Earthy. Rich and Creamy with plenty of fruit mostly black cherry and blackberry. Lighter notes of vanilla from the barrel program but in wine in good balance. Nice hold and great paring with the Tuna Tartare dish. — 11 years ago
Medium gold color. Heavy in the glass. Leesy nose with notes of lemon, apricot, tan spice and sea shells. With air this really blossomed. Became exotic and later was atypical for a Chablis. Yet it always had great fruit and powerful acidity. (Bday dinner 2/13) — 6 years ago
Delicious sparkling Chardonnay. — 7 years ago
Distinct pencil/graphite on the nose along with dark red fruit, and maybe lavender or geraniums. Restrained cherry, blackberries, and a hint of raspberry on the palate. Good tannins and acidity. Could drink now or put away for another year or so. Purchased K&L for around $20 — 8 years ago
Love this! — 8 years ago
Creamy and vibrant with notes of caramel, saltwater taffy, apple and melon — 8 years ago
Really smooth. Not overly spicy but you can taste the flavors of caramel and vanilla. Rich aroma — 9 years ago

2014. Another reminder that Assyrtiko reminds me of Albariño. Nice weight, fleshy, mild fruit, leesy and intensely sea salty. #PassTheOyster — 11 years ago
Fall feast of lamb ragu, mushroom and smoked ricotta bruschetta. With AD, Tony, Suzie, Rick, HAR and Sohn — 11 years ago
Perfect right now. More concentrated fruit than the last few years of sea smoke. But really a delicious wine. — 12 years ago

Champagne is for celebrating, not that I need a celebratory reason to open a bottle as I am hooked on champagne. 💉
However, after installing 27 solar panels and waiting an additional seven weeks for my Tesla, I/we have almost erased our carbon footprint. Finally picked it up today. I believe we all need to do our part to save the glorious vines that bring so much happiness to our lives. 🍷🥂👍
As for the Baron Fuentes, the is a very good Champange and is perhaps the best QPR out of Champagne at $24.99.
Bright lemon, lime, grapefruit w/ sugar, bruised red apple & pear, touch of ginger & cider, bread dough, baguette crust, sea spray, white spice with some palate heat, sea fossils, grey volcanic minerals, spring flowers, lilacs and yellow lilies. The acidity is bright, crisp and lively. The finish is smartly polished, well balanced and persistent for minutes.
Whoo hoo! So close to carbon free! 🍾🥂 — 6 years ago
