2014. Another reminder that Assyrtiko reminds me of Albariño. Nice weight, fleshy, mild fruit, leesy and intensely sea salty. #PassTheOyster

This has a sour quince aftertaste that seems a bit at odds with the mineralization found in the wine. Has depth which is a good sign for this type of wine. Good, not great.

Its amazing how much better this is with an extra 8 months in bottle. What was previously disjointed and a bit hot is now beautiful. Salty, minerally and so many layers

Classic assyrtiko , 2014 from hatzidakis estate, fruit like peach , bit of vanilla , perfect with sea urchin and fish roe(taramasalata ).
