2021. Drove to Omaha to attend an Arnot-Roberts wine class and tasting, and got there early to enjoy some delicious oysters with a bottle of fantastic Chardonnay that wasn’t on the tasting list. Unfortunately, Nathan Roberts flights were delayed and the class was cancelled, but we’re going home with a bunch of tasty wines instead! — 2 months ago
Well-made single varietal cabernet grown near Monte Bello. Smooth blackberry and graphite. Round and medium weight mouthfeel. Less complexity given the single varietal but made with finesse. — 4 months ago
Brian’s favorite. Very smooth, but not as much taste as you might want — 5 months ago
Tons of red and dark fruit. Mainly cherries and a bit of raspberry and spice. — 9 months ago
Fabulous CA pinot, aged well and enjoyed
immensely. — 9 months ago
Wow! Even better than a few months ago. Olives, blueberries, game, forest, pepper, plums. It’s interesting having this a few days after storm Syrah. Very similar. Love that there are more of these us syrahs with good fruit but balance. Central coast style. — 2 months ago
Cranberry, strawberry, sassafras. Chocolate cupcake. High toned. Light bodied. Easy to drink. With depth and character. Very good! — 3 months ago
Very pleasant, soft tannins — 5 months ago
2020 vintage. A fave CA chard and producer. Medium-medium heavy body. Tasting slightly more tropical and advanced with less acidity than usual. Still absolutely delicious tho. Would like to retaste and reevaluate in 5-6 months tho. Based on 30 vintages of tasting this particular wine, betting it reconciles any tawdry, fleeting concerns that occupy my compromised palate and right quick. 01.22.25. — 7 months ago
Based on day 2. I really enjoyed this as it opened up. Great texture with lemon curd, stone fruit, marzipan and lively acidity. So well balanced. — 9 months ago

The softness reminded me of a cool location something like the north coast. — a month ago
