Deep garnet. Hawthorn, tart cherry, rose and tar, asphalt, forest floor, dried herbs, sanguine, oregano, thyme, fennel, rosemary. Well integrated acidity and tannins. Full body (14.5%). Great value 😍 called it Barolo La Morra (ignoring the dark color) #facepalm — 7 months ago
100% Aglianico. Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas and flavors of plum, black cherry, tobacco, dark chocolate, graphite and freshly turned soil. Touch of pepper spice on the finish. Bright acidity and very firm tannins. Bone dry. Best with food. Give this one a decant. — a year ago
Really a mind expanding wine. Would never have guessed Aglianico or 2008 or 15%. Quite herby and earthy but with some core of fruit too - long finish with good acid. Lovely mouthfeel as well. And a great pairing with Marcella Hazan’s long cooked bolognese. — 7 months ago
good but unbalanced. Where fiano should be elegant and restrained this is ripe/tropical, viscous and high alcohol. It’s good but it forsakes typicity — 2 years ago

This one grows on you. White peach, light apple with a touch of citrus aromas. Minerals and medium acidity flavors. Goes well with food and sipping on its by itself. — 20 hours ago
