Nice and dry — 7 years ago
Decanted for 2 hours. Opened another one of these 4 hrs earlier but it was corked. Ugh. This is a very elegant wine. Red fruited and dusty, good grip, sweet tannins. Anxious to see what age adds.
Had opened this for a party with some guests who are Not wine geeks. Had them taste the two side by side and All of them could tell the corked wine difference. But most said they wouldn’t know that it was a bad thing unless tasted like this, compared to the normal bottle. — 8 years ago
What a deal what a deal what a deal - I will put this napa cab up against wines twice it's price - 2 hour decant and it's sings -
Taste is incredible fruit - dark blue and red fruit - highly structured tannins with density and complexity galore - smell works but it will get more aromatic in 2-3 years - If drinking now as I did then please decant
This comes from Tench vineyards - same as the acclaimed bevan - well I say drink this at half the price then you tell me the difference
This is big bold beautiful and I am smiling

Makes me wish I "got" champagne. That said, it's about the best one I've tasted. Update: by the end of the second glass, the bubbles had settled a bit and the wine warmed. It made all the difference and I could taste the complexity of what was going on. Still don't think I get champagne but that was bloody tasty! — 9 years ago
Quite pleasant organic pinot noir. But I still don't know any difference in taste between organic wine and, ekhm..., "regular" one. — 9 years ago
Hard to find but worth the hunt. A nice way to round out a long day. Can tell the difference and smooth taste comparing to 60 and 90 minute counterparts. — 9 years ago
Sainsburys taste the difference 2016 vintage. Very nice. Slightly fruity but not acidic. Easy to drink a few glasses. — 7 years ago
Very similar to the Château Oliver. Major difference is that this wine opens up with more bold dark fruit which is quite velvety. Transitions to a delicious blend of peppers, varied spices and eucalyptus in the middle and end. Great depth and lasting taste that blended well with our Fois gras and cheeses. — 7 years ago

Color of purple and ruby mix. Nose of nice fermented cabbage, wet mushroom, atypical as a Cab, a bit leather, a bit coffee, and tobacco leaves. Taste is also atypical, with zest and salty earthy note, berry note, tobacco leaves again, the fruit note is really marginal to me. My taste is very difference from described on the bottle, even though the bottle is quite decent. Aftertaste is quite good mellow tannins. Puzzled. — 8 years ago
This is second time to taste this wine 2011 Vintage following to 2012 of the last one 2012. Same as the last one, it has an amazing better aroma and more matured taste than other wines with more years. When it comes to the difference of vintage in those two, almost same. But this time, I could taste it for 2 and more hours, then I realized it keeps good taste within 2 hours. More than that, alcohol flavor and acidity surpass others. @5875, Toscany-JH, 170310-170311. Tried again on 170316, 2012 vintage. In 3rd time, also color is really beautiful, then everybody in the party commented it is quite good. — 9 years ago
Classic Rioja. Still purple, mid transparent. Plum, raspberry, vanilla, oak, spice. Dry, mid+ acidity, mid- dissolved tannin, round body. Fruit dried, oaky flavour filled, acidity stand outs to some extent, classics. Surprising price of £13 (Sainsbury Taste the difference). abv13.5 — 7 years ago
Would love to taste this again next to an 06 to see the difference. Beautiful! — 8 years ago
This is 3rd time following 2004 x 2. First time, I was amazing its deep taste got from early 2000' vintage. But 2nd time, I felt a bit spicy. However I was also amazing this time again. Just one year difference, but really deep and vintaged taste. Almost no need to decant it. I was introduced both has different taste. Yes, 2003 has much more vintaged taste. @3600, XPeV, 170915 — 8 years ago
Great wine (what Barolo isn't). A little more fruit forward than I remember of other Barolos. Still a great wine. Didn't taste much difference between an hour after opening & the next day. — 9 years ago
It's incredible to me that you can taste the difference between a Sonoma cab vs. Napa Cab. Quite wild — 9 years ago
Fresh dark fruit note with a strong, spicy taste. For £5.50 is a nice bottle. — 9 years ago

Full bodied, let aerate once opening and you will tell a major difference. Powerful taste with fruitful aromas and hints of dark chocolate — 7 years ago
