Decanted for 2 hours. Opened another one of these 4 hrs earlier but it was corked. Ugh. This is a very elegant wine. Red fruited and dusty, good grip, sweet tannins. Anxious to see what age adds.
Had opened this for a party with some guests who are Not wine geeks. Had them taste the two side by side and All of them could tell the corked wine difference. But most said they wouldn’t know that it was a bad thing unless tasted like this, compared to the normal bottle.

May 20th, 2018Slow O for 6 hours. Really nice wine, very harmonious. Tasted amongst several other 2013 Pott wines. Solid performer but a tad bit too sweet, if I’m being honest. Others loved it. I’m hoping the fruit settles down over time
