Interesting red from Emilio Bulfon. For those not familiar with this winery, his goal is to rescue old, nearly extinct Italian grape varietals and bring them back. Most of these grapes were common in Roman times, I believe, so these are pretty cool wines, geekily speaking. Early peak at '15. Will be hard to beat This wine for P&H. Salty, concentrated. Oak is well integrated. Tons of lemon peel, lemon oil, brûlée, fresh flowers, and great structure. Will reorder. — 9 years ago
