100% Nerello Mascalese. Light garnet (see through) color. Intensely smoky at first sniff that quickly blows off. Additional aromas of red berries, dried rose petals and orange zest. Enjoyed this wine. Had the store brand pecorino from Cantoro’s in Michigan and was thrilled to see this one to try again. Some melon and honeydew. With some pear and honeysuckle.
