This was the most Burgundian California Pinot that I’ve ever had, both the nose and on the palette. The wine would have benefited from an hour or two decant. Rich darker fruit well integrated with some tar and some earthy notes. — 7 months ago

1/4/23 2015 vintage: Dark cherry, oaky, baking spice slightly, raspberry jam???, cinnamon. Medium-full body. — 3 months ago
It’s a rich & powerful, with a plush texture. Cheery tart & spiced plum flavors. Delicious! — 4 months ago
2006 vintage. Had the 2008 vintage of this last night and it was rocking. Tonight, more reminiscent of an Agatha Christie novel. Potential and the promise of entanglements throughout but no smoking gun. Decanted and tasted over the course of 4 hours. Medium body and always seemed on the verge of unveiling new depth and understanding but never did. The tease was still pretty worthy. 5.28.23. — 10 months ago

We had the 2018 and 2019 on 3/14-15/24. They are both excellent Pinot Noirs. Both have tastes and bouquets of black cherry, vanilla and mild spice. Both well balanced, fruit forward and full bodied. The 2018 had a stronger bouquet the 2019 had a fuller mouthfeel. No doubt would buy more. — 14 days ago
