Remarkable wine. Earth, flowers and fruit. Beautiful balance in all aspects. — 6 years ago
Has a hint of honey, super unique — 8 years ago
Will be awesome. Very high in tannin. But great balance. Roses and tar. — 8 years ago
Vibrant purple red with magenta pink mousse. Berry bubble gum nose. Sweet and creamy on the bubbly palate, though not as sweet as the nose leads one to expect. Just enough acidity to balance and make it refreshing. A nice low-alcohol treat for summer dipping, it'll also make a great pairing with spicy fare like Buffalo wings or Fra Diavolo pasta. Drink now. — a year ago
A house staple. Berry bouquet, tart cherry, subtle leather, just enough tannin to keep you coming back for more. — 5 years ago
Goes really well with sesame chicken and noodles. Would probably go well with many chicken dishes. Light, not tannic/acidic. — 5 years ago
Fabulous fruity bouquet. 2011 vintage had a pleasant residual sugar and mild Tania’s and acidity. A delightful wine. Great discovery. — 8 years ago
Dolcetto at the peak of its greatness. Smells like piedmont and is coming out with deep forest smokey secondary flavours with that signature Rinaldi texture. Thanks James. — 8 years ago

A gift for the Franks for my first time at Frankie’s Spuntino. In the same vein as Rinaldi but with a more rustic and herbal expression. Truly a show stopper. Rides that perfect line between wild and elegance. Ink and tar and flowers and just full joy. Have had many bottles that were cooked or just plain off. So thrilled to get these from the source — 3 years ago
Came across a little flat even after 2.5 hour decant — 4 years ago
Darker colour than the 2018 Langhe Nebbiolo tried earlier in the week. A little more rustic and less expressive on the palate but remains true to Piedemont with rose and cherry flavours and appealing texture. New grape variety for me which is interesting. Lower price point so accessible entry to the Rinaldi style which I’m currently thinking is similar to Bartolo but a less little less savoury. — 5 years ago
A bigger tannic beast than 2014 langhe nebs but an intense signature Rinaldi bouquet forming which is what I love about these wines. — 8 years ago
Consider this a collective note on the '67 Barolo vintage...having tasted through about fifteen, most were fading or already past it. Burlotto, Prunotto, and Vietti were all wonderful and G. Rinaldi could legitimately go another decade, but in general, drink 'em if ya got 'em! — 8 years ago
