Last drank 4 mo ago; aromas on this bottle are more intense than my previous notes. Lots of sappy red fruit, dark rose, and a lot of violets. Palate also sappy, with tart acid. Really a fantastic value at around 20 USD. Bought a case; will go well with Thanksgiving dinner. — 7 months ago
This is an under $10 bottle at Trader Joe’s. And it shows up like it should be $40. Next time I’m at Trader Joe’s and they have this. I’m buying a case. It is way too good. (2024) — 10 months ago
So so intense, clean mineral lines & voluminous on palate-tasted blind my friend thought Chardonnay. 50 shades of apricot, a squeeze of petrol at end of long finish. Enough padding to be also Uber enjoyable. — 2 years ago
Jul 2025: very nice, delivers, but not as much as in most reviews — 3 years ago
Nose: bright. Lovely. White and yellow flowers. Pink grapefruit.
Palate: on the sweet side. Nice peach. Solid. Mountain stream. Sort of lovely if not not brilliant.

Moore B tasting of Germans. A terrific wine of a varietal new to me. Lively with a sense of weightlessness that’s intriguing, playful texture too. — 3 years ago
This needs a 45 minute decant. It’s rather simple on pop and pour.
Nose: powdered minerals. White flowers. Sweet lemon as it opens.
Palate: sweet fruit. Mineral. Bright acidity. Delicious. A bit straightforward but a great drink. Hmmm. Very nice depth. Sweet lemon. The missus says saline.
Hmm maybe the nose inches this to greatness. It’s really intense. Complex.

Just a brilliant brilliant wine. I cannot believe the value here. Nose is just sick. Deep berry, raspberry, cherry, sour cherry, blueberry, woodshop shavings, violets and other florals and so much more. This has so much stuffing it’s crazy. Extraordinary palate that is at once dense and at once nimble. Unreal sweet fruit and unreal, albeit youthful fruit and astonishing length. Crazy intense and brilliant inner mouth aromas and such complexity. Structure to burn and let’s see where we are in a few hours. Wow. — 9 months ago
2022. Tart apple, lime, mineral. Creamy mouthfeel. Crisp acidity. Paired great with seared tuna, kimchi rice, and stir-fried sugar snap peas. — a year ago
