Fruity but not overly sweet. Pleasant and refreshing with or without food. — 10 years ago
Very tasty 07 Spring Mountain Cabernet. Aaron Potts own label, you may also know some of his other consulting projects like Quintessa, Blackbird, Bello. This is dense and concentrated, loaded with dark fruits, spices, coffee and chocolate. Rich and Voluptuous all the way through. — 10 years ago
Side project of Ravneau. Well consulting project but still delicious — 11 years ago

A beautiful, elegant Bordeaux blend from Bolgheri, Tuscany. We don't know how you can go wrong with combining the Antinori family and consulting winemaker Michel Rolland! — 9 years ago

Since the 2007 vintage, this has been my informal "house red" (informal, because it's not going to be a perfect paring with everything). The 2012 (I have one bottle left) is concentrated, black fruit and minerality, and wonderfully aromatic. This is organically-farmed tannat, cabernet franc, merlot, and Monsieur Bozzi has a few rows of syrah planted as well. The small winery receives its barrels (one-used) from Vega Sicilia in Spain through the consulting oenologist, Stéphane Beuret. — 9 years ago

Selosse consulting. Feudi sparkling. — 10 years ago
From the Cazenuve family, with Daniel Llose (of AXA MIllésimes) as consulting oenologist. Grapes are hand picked in cagettes; rare for any Bordeoux wines at this price point. Aged 15 months in 1/3 new barriques, blended late. The wine is of substantial flesh on the forefront, with warm undertones of coffee and tobacco, and admirable grip. — 11 years ago
Dang I wish there was more of this shit. Established in 1997 by American Anthony Hwang (same owner of Dom. Huet) and restored in 1999. Consulting winemaker Noel Pinguet who left in 2011 made this exemplary dry Hungarian blend of 80% Furnint and 20% Hárslevelu from the vineyards of Percze, Henye, Becsek and Nyulászó (mixture of red and yellow clays as well as volcanic and stone strewn vineyards). Fermented in 100% Hungarian large oak barrels for 5 months. Oak is evident but not invasive, a whipping cream like smell to the nose with polished stone and kaffir lime, honey, lanolin, orange blossom, stone fruits a touch of botrytis and white mushroom. Acid reins here, and sticks to the tongue and cheeks like saline minerals and crushed quartz. Wish I hadn't finished it so quickly. Dang. — 11 years ago
