2/2024. Drinks well. Fruit , nuts and tartness. Easy for me to drink. Very nice with salty potato chips. — 4 months ago
2023/4 holidays. Classic and wonderful - hugely aromatic, hints of flor / salinity but lots of nutty, caramel and dried fruit character give a sense of sweetness though the wine is dry, making it a great partner for aged hard cheeses. Good balancing acidity too. — 5 months ago

Happy Birthday Christina. 🎂 🎉 🥳
I have been holding this bottle for her birthday for about 5 years since we had this vintage last. Worth the wait. So much more complex now.
The fruits are more subtle and the toasted mixed nut buffet has taken hold. Butterscotch hard candy. Round, creamy, subdued lemon & pineapple juice, hints of lime on the long set, Bosc pear, white peach, whipped cream, brioche, some bread dough, some of the most beautiful yeastiness, what amazing, soft chalkiness, sea spray, undertones of white spice, crushed/powdery limestone, fresh, blooming Spring flowers & yellow lilies, excellent, perfect, crisp acidity, layers and layers on the well; knitted, balanced, structured, brilliantly polished, elegant finish that lasts minutes.
I’ve had some nice champagne lately and this beats everything except 02 & 96 Krug. — 3 months ago
Delicious apples, citrus and apricots. — 6 months ago
One of my favorite Bourbons. Eagle Rare 10y coming out of Buffalo Trace. Grab it when you see it.

It is in the shut the door phase.
Just beautiful body & mousse. Crisp mico-oxygenation. Meyer lemon, Bartlett pear, green & golden apple, lime citrus blend w/ pith, just ripe pineapple, light tropical melons, both peaches, nougat, almond skin, caramel notes, light yeastiness, some bread dough, sea spray/fossils, mid white spice, crumbled chalkiness, alluvial limestone/volcanics, spring flowers w/ yellow lilies, crisp yet soft acidity, balanced for days, nicely knitted, softly tensioned and a smartly polished finish that lasts 90 seconds to two-minutes.
Purchased on the secondary market and quite as good as I stored upon release. — 20 days ago
